songs of summers past pt 4

summer after third year of university

ah the summer of "without me". seems kind of pointless to post that song.

millencolin - man or mouse: my favorite millencolin song ever. i remember going to clear the beer that summer and being drunk and making andy wright play this song at least three times. oh, such great times.

something corporate - i woke up in a car: during my trip across the united states with mike cucchiara, i made a point to put this song on at least five times. i must have played the living fuck out of this album.... man. i probably listened to it 50 times that summer. it's too bad that their newer stuff is just wretched, because this song, hurricane, you're gone, fall, and good news were all just terrific.

i was tempted to go with another new found glory song, one off sticks and stones. instead...

ben kweller - commerce, tx.: ben kweller is just awesome. i remember hearing this stuff and just absolutely loving it. sha sha still stands up as one of my ten favorite albums.
