ben gibbard and kaaaanye

so my boy kanye, you know, mr. 'george bush doesn't care about black people' (which was the best unintentional comedy moment ever watching mike myers face after it) just did a show in the abbey road studios. when there, he did some of his biggest hits, including 'gold digger' (you know, the most popular song out there right now?). so, some live kanye for you bitches.

death cab for cutie is on the stubbs the zombie soundtrack (which adamriff, i'm sure, will review in greater detail than i). this includes their fucking ridiculous cover of 'earth angel' - i mean, could there be a better band to cover that song than death cab? it's quite literally the most obvious cover ever, i think. that said, it's really really really good. i feel marty mcfly listening to it.

edit - sorry folks, i had to take the file down - but it IS a great song and the soundtrack is phenomenal. i HIGHLY suggest you all go out and pick it up. ben kweller (my favorite singer-songwriter) does a killer cover of 'lollypop' on there that you'll love.
